Program scope

These SMS Terms and Conditions govern the AssetBuilt text messaging program operated by Asset Built LLC (“AssetBuilt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in, you agree to receive the message types described in your consent and to these terms. These terms supplement our Privacy Policy and do not replace applicable auction terms, purchase agreements, or removal obligations.

Messages you may receive

Depending on your consent, messages may include responses to inquiries and customer support; auction registration and bidding updates; transaction and payment-status notices; appointment, pickup, and removal coordination; and service-related reminders. By agreeing to put Terms and Conditions and Privacy policy, we may also send promotional messages about upcoming auctions, available assets, and AssetBuilt services. Messages may be recurring or sent using automated technology.

Consent and participation

SMS participation is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing goods or services or participating in an auction. Providing a telephone number, accepting general auction terms, or requesting services does by itself enroll you in promotional texts. We obtain and maintain the consent required for the applicable message category by agreeing to the following Privacy Policy and SMS Terms and Conditions provided. If you initiate a text conversation, we may respond to that inquiry. ,You must be at least 18 and the subscriber or authorized user of the number provided. Notify us if your number changes or is reassigned.

Frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on your preferences, inquiries, transactions, and auction activity. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile carrier plan. AssetBuilt does not charge a separate subscription fee for this messaging program. Contact your carrier about messaging charges.

Opting out and getting help

Reply STOP to any AssetBuilt text to opt out. We also honor other clear requests to stop, including requests sent to info@assetbuilt.com or made by calling (213) 753-3875. You may receive one non-promotional confirmation of your opt-out. After processing your request, we will stop messages covered by that request unless you provide fresh consent. Opting out does not cancel an existing transaction or change your auction obligations; we may communicate through other permitted channels. Personal Data and Program Administration

Information collected and used

We collect and use your mobile number, contact details, message content and attachments, messaging preferences, consent and opt-out records, and relevant delivery and interaction information to operate the program. We use this information to respond to you, provide authorized updates, maintain consent records, honor opt-outs, troubleshoot delivery, protect against misuse, and meet legal obligations. Related auction or transaction information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Protection of mobile opt-in data

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers collected for this program, mobile opt-in data, or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message consent is specific to AssetBuilt and is not transferred to others for their own messaging programs. We may provide the minimum information necessary to service providers, including RingCentral and telecommunications providers, solely to deliver and support our messaging on our behalf, or disclose information when required by law. These limited disclosures do not authorize recipients to use your information for their own marketing. The broader sharing provisions in our Privacy Policy do not authorize sharing SMS opt-in data or consent for third-party marketing.

Retention, security, and privacy requests

We retain messaging and consent records as reasonably necessary to administer the program, document compliance, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations. We may retain suppression records after an opt-out to honor your choice. Other retention practices and applicable privacy rights are described in our Privacy Policy. We use safeguards designed to protect personal information, but text messaging is not completely secure. Delivery and availability

Delivery depends on mobile carrier coverage, device compatibility, and network availability and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text notifications are a convenience; consult your auction account, invoice, or applicable agreement for binding deadlines and requirements. The program is not an emergency service.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms by posting a revised version and effective date. We will provide additional notice or obtain renewed consent where required; changes do not expand your consent automatically.
